i haven't written in ages, and i'm truly sorry to those of you who still read this blog-thing. no worries, though. i am back on the map, pen in hand and keys beneath my fingers.

after 15 months of traveling, i feel incredibly american at the moment. i'm in a coffeeshop, and i'm not drinking nescafe. life here is just so easy. there are no difficult language barriers. everything is so familiar. i don't think i like the familiarity. it's so boring. i'm ready for the next adventure already.
