functions of a divemaster

sometimes, the divemaster tests have really funny incorrect options. i suppose the good folks at padi do that just to give us a laugh between the more difficult ones, which tend to have several correct answers. on a recent test, "manning the helm when requested" was offered as one of the roles of a divemaster. needless to say, camilla and i took the response literally while we were out partying in kuta last weekend.
